How long do you run your MH's before replacing them?  Same question on PC's.

My MH's are only 4 months old and they started throwing off a major yellow spectrum - I disliked the appearance of the tank a lot.  These are XM 15,000K double ended MH's.  I decided to replace them with two 10,000K on the outside's and a 20,000K in the middle -- right now I like the effect, but it will take a week for these to get there needed 100 hours of burn time to show their actual color.

I was thinking of swapping the MH's every 6 months and the PC's ever 12 months - I was/am very surprised that these bulbs turned so yellow.  So I thought I might get your thoughts.
