No joke but the UK now has more Poles working here than in Poland. They joined the EU and can now work here in the UK.

Most places cant find skilled workers anymore. Short sighted managers stopped taking on aprentices about 25 years ago (to save money) and now there is a shortage of skilled workers. Not bad for a country with 30% unemployment  zz2

It's not that much different here, with another "skilled" immigrants push. It's amazing you can't even get a job at McDonalds without a university degree, but they wont train kids, via apprenticeship to be plumbers and the like. We sure are becoming the poor rich :)
