Yes Its crazy I have a few frags that I brought home from the Job and when compared to the same size frags that I took from the parent colony at the same second and glued to the plugs from the same plug batch and all mine have grown 4x's the rate of their counterparts at the shop. I run my stuff very high and starting to raise the levels at the old coral /farm also (: Now the boss was a tad spazzy at first as he thought I was going to cook everything LOL But after he has documented the new growth rates I seldom see I'm anymore he goes out to the schools to teach the theory of marine biology I grow the corals LOL. But how I acheive this is agianst all the experts teachings and advice of how too LOL.. You should have seen his face when I started to pour strontium in the systems LOL I was burning through 2 of the Kents turbo stont jars weekly still am LOL and thats just on 3,000 gallons of water.. Jan when I went there the Ca was 380's alk was 300's or 9 dkh and now the ca is like 500 to 600 Alk 570+ or 15 to 16 DKH and strontium is at 1200ppm . I have frags that are larger then the colomey I cut them from in less then 2.5 months and the only difference now is the bulbs I run oppsed to the Ushios and some X.M at the shop.

Leave it to Roger to prove the experts theory to be not so correct

Annick here...I'm too lazy to log Roger out
I shoot with a Canon Rebel XT DSLR and for those pics, I used a Sigma 55mm 1:2.8 macro lens. The camera/lens combination probably cost more than the dang tank and everything in it
