The "pop pop" part aye?  :)

Put the paste into one of those "thick" syringes that comes with the Salifert test kits then squirt the paste onto the base/mat of the corals you're looking to burn.  Try to smear the paste around as much as possible and try to keep the paste away from anything that you don't want to burn.  When I used it to kill anthellia, I trimmed as many of the stalks as possible with a scissor before smearing the paste on the base.  Make sure you catch any stalk that floats away or it will settle and recolonize wherever it lands.

I think if it is thick enough you can spread on the polyps like butter. What ever it touches should die out...don't think it will spread to other parts that have not been touched by the paste... like RS said...what ever it touches it will burn and die off.

Some people are like slinkies...they are not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs! :)
