Can a mirror be used as a background with marine fish like Tangs and Damsels?

I wouldn't do it as the fish will most likely attack their reflections.  What would you be trying to accomplish using the mirror?  Light reflection?

My yellow anemone is very hard to see behind a feature rock in the center of the tank and a miror would solve that broblem, but if it causes a problem...
it's going.

I'd not add a mirror or anemone to any community aquarium  ,The anemone was your first mistake and the mirror will be right up there ..But hey its your money and aquarium.. Good luck
